D: How to Get NIC ASIA CARD

    You need to visit any of our Branches nearest to you for requesting a card. Instant cards can be provided to you immediately however, if you require a       name personalized card, you need to wait for few days. For Kathmandu Valley Branches, it would take around 3 days and for outside Kathmandu                 Valley Branches, it may take around 7-10 days. Our staffs at Branches shall call you once the card is ready for delivery.

There is a 24 Hours support service at Nepal Electronic Payment Systems (NEPS) for such issues. Card Blocking after office hours and during Public Holidays can be done by calling Toll Free Number 16600116016 or +977-1-4411703/ 4411687. G: How to unblock card

For unblocking your card, you need to visit any of our Branches nearest to you and submit an application for the same. For security reasons, card unblock via telephone and or any other means is not entertained.


H: How to activate card

When a card is first delivered to you, the status of the Card is set to “Force PIN Change”. You need to visit any of NIC ASIA Bank ATM Terminals and change the first PIN provided to you along with the Card. PIN Change during first use is mandatory and until the PIN is changed by the cardholder himself/ herself, the card will not be fully activated, and the cardholder will have problem using the card in ATM/POS/Online.


I: What in case card gets captured by ATM?


If your card is captured at any ATM under NIC ASIA Branch premises, you can request the customer support staff at the corresponding Branch for recovering the Card. If the card is captured on off-site locations (NIC ASIA Terminals), please visit your nearest Branch or send an email to card@nicasiabank.com for placing card retrieval request. Bank staffs shall put their maximum effort to deliver the card to you at the earliest. You shall be notified once the captured card is recovered and ready for delivery. If the card is captured by Other Bank’s ATMs, the bank need to coordinate with other Bank owning the ATM Terminal due to which it may take some time. You can make card retrieval request via any of our branches or by sending email to card@nicasiabank.com
