1. What is the difference between Super Chamatkarik Jestha Nagarik Bachat Khata (SCJNBK) and Chamatkarik Jeshta Nagarik Bachat Khata (CJNBK)?

The super Chamatkarik Jestha Nagarik Bachat Khata differs from Chamatkarik Jestha Nagarik Bachat Khata in terms of Insurance coverage amount and other additional benefits.

The SCJNBK insurance covers whole family i.e. Couple and two Children whereas the insurance coverage under CJNBK is limited to only Account holder.

Similarly, under SCJNBK, Charge on Mobile banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking on all variants (i.e. Silver, Gold and Diamond) would be waived for first year which is limited to Gold and Diamond Category under CJNBK.

Similarly, ATM withdrawal charge under SCJNBK is free from all ATMs in Nepal which is limited to Gold and Diamond Category under CJNBK.

Account can be opened by senior citizen of age 55 years & above and any gender having any income level.


3. Whether Joint Account can be opened under SCJNBK?

No. Only single account can be opened.


4. Whether Online SCJNBK can be opened?

Yes. However, customer isn’t eligible for any freebies and insurance benefit until minimum balance is maintained.
