How to buy & sell shares in Nepal?

You have to follow few basic steps:

  • Open Demat account from available depositary participants like NIC Asia Bank.
  • Documents required:
    • Citizenship certificate
    • Photos
  • Open transaction account through stock broker. Documents required:
    • Citizenship certificate
    • Photos
  • After verifying your account, you have to quote buying or selling quantity and rate of share you wanted to buy or sell through broker office during trading hour.
  • Pay due amount or receive sold amount through cheque.

    NEPSE also fully enforced the provision of T+3, under which all payments have to be settled within three days of trading.
